Somaí Pharmaceuticals

Somaí is the flagship international initiative of Green Rush Partners. Our team brought an unparalleled level of expertise to Portugal to build this leading EU-GMP vertically integrated Multi-Country Operator (MCO) .

The Lisbon facility was meticulously designed to be one of the most advanced and flexible cannabinoid manufacturing plants globally, engineered for EU-GMP compliance from the ground up, including ISO-classified cleanrooms, sophisticated HVAC, and a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS). This relentless, experience-driven management is what delivered a world-class pharmaceutical facility on time and on budget.

  • Fully vertically integrated Multi-Country Operator in Europe.
  • Extensive IP portfolio and proprietary product pipeline.

Solaris Farms

Solaris Farms stands as one of the largest and most well-respected private double cannabis verticals in Nevada. Built from a bare lot of land, the venture successfully merged with The Sanctuary, demonstrating Michael Sassano's capability to build significant market value.

The facility was conceptualized after touring global agricultural greenhouses, leading to a design that prioritizes high-quality yields in harsh climates. Solaris maintains a rotation of 7,000 plants and bi-monthly 1,000 plant harvests . When fully built out, the cultivation space, approved for over 300,000 sq ft , will position Solaris among the top 20 largest cannabis grows in the U.S.

  • Successful merger of a cultivation company with a vertical license holder.
  • Nevada icon with plans for up to 300,000 sq ft of cultivation space.

Meet Our Founder & Chairman

Michael Sassano

Director Green Rush Partners

Interim CEO, Somaí Pharmaceuticals

Green Rush Partners: From US Infrastructure to Global EU-GMP Leadership
Green Rush Partners (GRP) is a private investment, advisory, and holding company and a definitive force in the global, regulated cannabis and cannabinoid pharmaceutical sectors. GRP’s core mandate is strategic execution: bridging foundational American expertise with stringent international biopharma demands. We specialize in turning complex regulatory challenges into market opportunities through comprehensive execution, regulatory compliance, and large-scale platform development.

The Foundation: American Infrastructure
GRP's legacy began with Michael Sassano investing in cannabis since 2008. By 2015, he and his brother moved to Las Vegas to become architects of the cannabis economy, building essential physical infrastructure. The Green Rush Partners name derived from pivotal US entities like 420702 International, which provided critical consulting and construction management. This era resulted in a Track Record of 27 Built Facilities—ranging from indoor grows, dispensaries, and complex greenhouses—across key US states, forming the operational bedrock of GRP’s global strategy.

Global Flagship: Somaí and EU-GMP Vertical Integration
GRP strategically directed its focus toward the European Union and global pharmaceutical markets. The flagship is Somaí Pharmaceuticals, a leading EU-GMP vertically integrated Multi-Country Operator (MCO) based in Portugal.

The GRP Value Proposition
GRP’s value proposition is unique: we are veteran operators, not just financial backers. The founder has successfully worked with over 59 companies across multiple continents, combining deep regulatory knowledge with tangible construction and manufacturing expertise. GRP connects strategic capital with hands-on, proven experience, ensuring every investment is built on operational integrity, sophisticated infrastructure, and market-defying foresight.
